November 2023 was a difficult month for Morning After Pill Cebu. As our reach continued to grow, so did misunderstandings about the services we provide. One of the biggest challenges we faced this month was harassment directed at our team, fueled by the false belief that we are selling abortion pills. We want to make it clear once again: Morning After Pill Cebu only provides emergency contraceptives such as Plan B Cebu and other related reproductive health products. We do not, under any circumstances, sell abortion pills.

Unfortunately, the lack of understanding led to stressful and even dangerous encounters. Our warehouse was repeatedly visited and harassed by one individual, a husband who discovered that his wife had been discreetly ordering from us despite his wish to conceive. This situation caused not only disruption in our operations but also concern for the safety and well-being of our staff.

Our mission has always been to make reproductive health accessible, safe, and discreet. We understand that conversations around contraception can be sensitive, but no one deserves to be harassed for providing or using these services. To protect our employees, we have even started considering moving to a new warehouse location—an added cost and effort, but one we are willing to make if it means ensuring our staff’s security.

Despite these challenges, we remain steadfast in our purpose. Every day, clients reach out to us for urgent and genuine access to Plan B Cebu, and every order we fulfill is a reminder of why our work is so important. November was a test of resilience, and while it was one of our toughest months yet, it also strengthened our commitment to continue standing by our clients, no matter the obstacles.
